This is a long overdue post! Please do check Baguio Tourism news for travel updates before heading to Valleypoint Campsite.
Before the quarantine happened, I was grateful to have visited Valleypoint Campsite in Tuba, Benguet. If you are an outdoorsy kind of person or if you are a nature lover, this place is perfect for you! Baguio is definitely one of our go-to places for relaxation, but I asked my boyfriend to try something new so we ended up in Valleypoint, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
If you’re on your way to Baguio City and want something new to try, why not head over to Valleypoint Campsite for a day of rest and relaxation? If you’d like to visit the place during this time, please do check updates from Baguio Tourism pages, websites or news before proceeding for necessary precautionary measures and COVID travel updates.
our experience
My boyfriend and I commuted from Tarlac City to Baguio City last February 24. We didn’t go straight to the campsite because we were advised that the check-in was still at 2PM. So, we headed to the city first to pass time. Supposedly, Bencab museum was our first destination but I figured it was closed on Mondays, so we just went to Arca’s Yard. Even though we’ve been to Baguio City multiple times already, there are still places I have never been that I want to visit.
By the time 2pm rolled out, we were already at the campsite. Since we didn’t bring our own car, we managed to book a taxi going to Valleypoint and paid around 150 pesos for the fare. The campsite was located at Green Valley, Tuba, Benguet just outside the city of Baguio. You can actually ride a jeepney going to Green Valley and it will drop you off at the checkpoint. You would then have to walk for about 5 minutes before arriving to Valleypoint Campsite. Yes, jeepney rides are a much cheaper option, but at the time, we didn’t know where to ride so we opted to just book a taxi instead.
The staff were really friendly and approachable. The view is amazing especially at the lounge area where the games are at. If you’re a coffee person, then you would really enjoy their unlimited coffee amenity with a view. It’s a great place to hang out with friends and family because there are also board games you can request at the information desk. I think books are also available there but I’m not 100% sure. Although, you can always bring your own book because it’s a great place to read and relax. The weather was nice when we went there and it becomes chilly in the morning and at night!
There are actually different types of rooms or tents that you can rent for the night but we chose the tent to get the full experience of camping. I forgot how much we paid for the stay but I’m sure it was around Php 1000 – Php 1350. Also, I suggest that you book ahead of time by sending them a message through their facebook page. The tent we stayed at was spacious and we were also given guest kits which include toiletries but make sure to bring your own just in case!
I actually wanted to try their premium kubo experience but it was priced at Php 3500 for 2 pax and I think they were fully booked at the time. There’s a tv inside where you can watch your favourite Netflix shows and it also has a window above that you can open for stargazing. I bet it would be a great experience and I’ll make sure to give it a try next time!
Waking up to this view is just breathtaking. Cold weather paired with a cup of coffee or hot choco, I mean.. what can be better than this? Depending on the weather, you might be able to catch a sea of clouds every now and then.
Free breakfast is also served at this campsite! Choose your favorite silog meals! They also offer different meals if you want to eat lunch or dinner there although you have to pay for it at a discounted price if you are going to stay overnight. There is also an art gallery you can go to and the entrance fee for campers are free of charge. We weren’t able to visit because we actually forgot about this amenity. Lol.
You also have the option to select an outdoor activity (Archery or Airsoft) of your choice. In our case, we opted to try the airsoft because there were too many people who were on the line for archery. You can actually try both but you would have to pay for the other activity at a discounted price.
Overall, it was a great experience and we would definitely be back once everything’s back to normal again. I would definitely recommend trying Valleypoint Campsite to travellers who want to try something new and also to everyone who frequently visits Baguio and wants to experience Baguio/Benguet with fresh eyes.

Hello Bee, hope you’re doing good! I was so happy after reading your comment on my blog post and welcome back! Your photos and texts are so refreshing in the blogging world.
So good that you had the chance to visit Valleypoint before the quarantine, as you I had the chance to have a trip before all this madness, so I think we were lucky enough.
The trip itself sounds like a great adventure and I really liked all the landscapes, they look so magical and the best part is that you were able to connect with nature and have a good time far away from the busy city life.
Wouldn’t mind to go to a place like this, but for now adventures will have to wait a little bit!
Keep posting great content and take care!

Very cool place!! It sounds like a great outdoor activity for couples, a small getaway. You’re totally right, the view is breathtaking. I can see how waking up to that from a tent, as opposed to walking out of a room, can be a very different experience.
Thanks for sharing your time with us!
