Hellooooo. Long time no post, eh? January waved goodbye just a few days ago. It flew by so fast. My head was still stuck on December but I needed to move on. Classes officially resumed in the second week and the responsibilities piled up pretty much quickly so I wasn’t able to post as much as I wanted to. But anyway, I’m really excited to tell you the things I loved for the month of January…
music
I’ve been listening to korean songs lately and I actually got hooked to Spotify just pretty recently when I subscribed to a premium account. I made a playlist of kdrama ost songs because I just really love the soundtracks of the kdramas I previously watched. Those in the photo are just some of the songs I loved, I haven’t updated it yet so there’s just about 13 songs there. Click on this link to listen to it, and I would appreciate if you would follow the playlist too! And if you have suggestions also, please do recommend me some from the comment section below.
I’ve been loving the mario badescu face mist I bought from a friend. I’ve been hearing a lot of reviews about this product. Vloggers and bloggers alike have been raving about this and I can say that it is really good! I use it as a primer and even just to refresh my face almost every morning.
I’m really picky when it comes to lip products because there are just a few lipstick shades that I find flattering for myself. Luckily, I found a love on these lippies. The first one was something I got from my sister for Christmas and I’ve been totally eyeing this since last year. It’s the Sunnies Face Fluffmatte in 143. The formula of this is very different from other lipsticks I have tried before and I love it. Based on their ad, you can even use it as a blush and eyeshadow! I also want to try their Fluffmate in Baked because it’s such a nice color.
The next lip product I love is The Premium Stain which I bought last week from a friend. I have seen this product all over facebook and I’ve been using for a week now. It’s kind of greasy at first which I don’t like at first (it’s an oil-based lip stain) but when it dries, it’s matte. So, I told you before that I have a hard time finding shades that suit me, and I can say that this one suits my taste. I got the shade Anya for only 100 pesos (roughly around $2). I haven’t seen or tried the other shades but I most definitely will, in the near future!
When I first tried the Green Tea Latte from Starbucks, I was certain I did not like it. The taste of matcha was really foreign to me. But as time went by, I became addicted to it! Lol. This has been my go-to Starbucks beverage since August of last year!
During the first week of January, I indulged in watching Japanese movies because I was done with k-dramas over the Christmas vacation. Some of the movies I watched and re-watched are: Ao Haru Ride, Kimi ni Todoke, Strobe Edge, L-DK, Close Range Love and The Black Devil and the White Prince. But the movies I loved are Daytime Shooting Star and Closest Love to Heaven which I also watched last month. The actors/actresses are just kawaii~!
How about you, what are your current faves?
